Down TBR Hole

Down the TBR hole #8

Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend. I didn’t do too much it was rainy and gross here the whole weekend. Perfect for getting some reading done, though! How was your weekend?

Down the TBR hole is a meme created by Lisa at lost in a story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.

The Rules:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

And Then There Were None

by Agatha Christie

I want to read this one for sure!

Verdict: Keep

Leah on the Offbeat

by Becky Albertalli

Ok, I was really excited to read this one at one point. Then, I, recently, read Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda and it was a major disappointment. Also, I’ve read some really negative reviews about this book.

Verdict: Go

Tyler Johnson Was Here

by Jay Coles

I really want to own and read this book. Not only for that gorgeous cover but because this book is important. Also, that it has been compared to The Hate U Give, which, I loved.

Verdict: Keep

Sawkill Girls

One of the blurbs on Amazon for this book is:

“An eerie, atmospheric assertion of female strength.” —Mindy McGinnis, author of The Female of the Species

Um, YES! I one hundred percent want to read this!

Verdict: Keep
